Dolphin Fish Painting, acrylic on wood relief carving.

I drew the fish on pine, my father did the carving, then the stain. And now I am painting acrylic on top of the wood relief carving.

Finished product!

To give you an idea of size, my hubby posed by it for me!

About Me

My photo
Andrea McGee
I was born in Bowling Green Kentucky, and moved to Jacksonville, Florida when I was a child. I minored in art at the University of North Florida while obtaining my Bachelor's of Science in Biology (1999). I took some more art classes after my younger brother was killed in a car accident in 2001. Art has always been an escape for me and it was my therapy after my brother died. In 2006 I married a wonderful man who makes me proud everyday! I am a proud Navy Wife. We have had the opportunity to live in some amazing places, Key West, Florida was very influential on my art work. I love the water and all the creatures in it! We now live in Pensacola, Florida, where I have my artwork in Artworks Studio and Gallery on Perdido Key. Art makes me happy, creating art is an unbelievable feeling I can't describe, all I know is it makes me feel like I am home, no matter where I am! I hope you enjoy my work as much as I enjoy creating it!
